The Stoke Newington Heritage Mural Project is a community arts and heritage project which has been funded by awards from the Arts Council England, The Heritage Lottery Fund and William Patten PTFA.

Inspired by Stoke Newington’s radical and literary history, and its long standing reputation for tolerance, this exciting project is made up of several different phases.

The project culminated in Spring 2016 with a typographic mural being painted onto the large black east facing wall overlooking William Patten Primary School's playground.
